 Biography
 
Kimberly Armstrong is the President of Diamond Development,  a Consulting & Training, organization which  provides services to families, professionals, community-involved individuals and non-profit organizations on  Training, Stress & Anger Management, Youth Development & Leadership Training, Cultural Diversity, Dealing with Bereavement & Grief  along with other life-enhancement skills. 
 
 Kimberly has received educational certificates from the Professional Woman's Network and the Woman's Entrepreneurs of Baltimore (W.E.B), for the successful completion of their programs.  In December 2004 she received the 2004-05 Pollin Award from the Washington Wizards for Outstanding Dedication to the Community. In 2007 she was Honored by the National Juvenile Justice Network and the Campaign for Youth Justice with The National Mother of Distinction Award. These accomplishments have made her an ardent proponent for positive, constructive and immediate reform of the entire juvenile justice system in Maryland. She continues to fight injustice and helping youth & families help themselves through education and empowerment.  Ms. Armstrong suffered a tragic loss in September 2004 her young son was murdered this has lead her to embark on another journey as an author and speaker. She is one of 25 woman who has co-authored two books.The Christians Woman's Guide For Personal Success features her contributing chapter on How To Deal With Death and Grief. Women as Leaders: Strategies for Empowerment & Communication contains her contributing chapter entitled Leadership Skills for Youth. 
                                                                                         
Her most recent accomplishments in May 2008 she was honored as one of "Baltimore Top Neighborhood Mom's" by Stephanie Rawlings Blake President of Baltimore's City Council. In February of 2008 Ms. Armstrong was appointed by Governor Martin O'Mally to the Governors Office of Children State Coordinating Council, she also serves on several other legislative task force and committees  pertaining to reforming Maryland Juvenile Justice System.
